DESCRIPTION:Lustre powers approximately 70% of TOP500 supercomputers and is
  essential infrastructure for high-performance computing (HPC). Our work e
 nables RISC-V systems to access Lustre storage clusters\, addressing a cri
 tical gap in the RISC-V HPC ecosystem. The port required only 8 minimal pa
 tches (19 lines changed across 9 files) to Lustre 2.17.0\, demonstrating t
 he maturity of both the RISC-V Linux ecosystem and Lustre’s portable cod
 ebase. We validated functionality through QEMU-based testing with multi-cl
 ient mount operations\, FIO\, and IOR benchmarks. The patches are being su
 bmitted upstream to the Lustre project for inclusion in future releases.
